Magical melting Stan
was a mess
“I am melting”
he would confess.

All day or night
slipping out of his chair
his head would be striped
if you combed his hair.

He had no friends
he had no toys
he scared all the girls
scared all the boys.

One day while walking
(or what he could muster)
he tripped on his pants
and fell through the gutter
