When I lost you,
I became so confused,
Who do I talk to,
Who to turn to?

Every day I pray,
To see you once more,
Just one more day,
I have so much to say.

You may not have thought,
That when you left,
My life would stop,
I would have nothing left.

I loved you like a brother,
I know you loved me to,
I just wish you would have come to me,
I always tried to be there.

I've realized I could have done nothing,
To help you through your pain,
You fullifilled your time on earth,
And I will see you when I complete mine.

I love you brother,
I love you friend,
I'll be with you in heaven,
When my life ends.

thank you for this..

see one of my best friends died 3 years ago today and I just can't get him off my mind. This poem is perfect, and reminded me so much of him.

That poem was beautiful... if I weren't in a room full of people I would be crying right now. The emotions behind that poem are strong. Thank you for sharing... my little brother died two years ago (almost), he was only three months old. Even though this poem was about your friend it can relate to so many different situations. Keep writing.
