Black, gray and white, like a daily paper,
carelessly crumpled, and thrown to the street,
the sky was reflected in the cold, puddled pavement.
People stepped on the clouds with negligent feet.

This December morning was strangely enigmatic.
The hoary haze veiled trees, bushes and benches.
Like some lunatic lover, passionate and fanatic,
the wind kissed the downcast faces of strangers.

I haven't seen you around here for a while, or perhaps I've just been looking in the wrong places.

This was an interesting read, Master.  It forced me to think of the world, of the streets filled with people, in a new and interesting way.

Nice to read your work again.
