i can't stop hiding

I try to find myself
but I run away

I try to find a home
but I’ll never stay

I have to help myself
but I can't get it right

I have to calm down with myself
but all I so is fight

I can't find level ground
there's no where to put my feet

my mind is a battle field
and I march to the same beat

I try to run away
but that's always where I’ll be

so no matter how much I change
I will always have to see me

Matt- This is EXACTLY what I felt as a teenager (back when dinosaurs raomed the planet,of course). Of course, I never had the talent to express it this eloquently. I truly enjoyed this one immensely.

We are all equal but we’re individually different
and able to reach the impossible if we try.
