Well my dear
it's come to this:
how grown up are we?
Shall we continue
in this teenageresque drama
that we insist on playing?
Or shall we bite the bullet
and be adults
and love like we can
(or leave like we can?)
We're laughable now,
you realise this, don't you?
Even I laugh at us.

So what shall we do?
Shall I prepare your dinner?
Or shall I prepare the horses' dinner?
It's all up to you now.

Life isn't really all that bad... just don't take it too seriously

Man, if I were in this situation, I'd go feed the horses and tell him tough luck. You go girl!

I think this was a good poem... and if this guy doesn't feel the need to grow up... then you should feel the need to "feed the horses".  Keep writing.

Aw thanks for the replies, you guys
It was pretty much about a little... problem... that me and "Someone" were having, and hopefully he's starting to get it through his head that I don't like to be ignored, and that I will put my horses before him if he's not willing to make an effort.
The "teenageresque" part was brought on by the fact that we've only been having this same problem since we were both somewhere around 18 and 19. You'd think we'd have learned by now *grins*
