my soul is so dry as the sun beats down dancing and twirling in between the [truth] within your eyes we’re hiding isn’t this how its been? and all this time i’m trying to find the reasons as to why you shouldn’t leave me behind for i am not as pretty as those girls i tend to see you with and the comparisons do you know how badly they rip my heart apart? and i try and try to look away but there’s just something about you that makes me want to stay my soul is so dry as the sun beats down dancing and twirling in between the [lies] within my eyes ((for i am nothing special and my heart is full of secrets that you wouldn’t know)) i wonder if when you look at me the world slows down and your noisy soul becomes silent i wonder if you listen to all the words i’ve never spoken a token of this one last chance at love …at redemption we’re hiding we’re hiding isn’t this how its been? and all this time i’m trying to find the reasons as to why you shouldn’t leave me behind |
