Forgotten

I was a step behind
I knew what I was going to find
A crying soul forgotten here
Down her cheek runs a tear

A mother looking for her child
She’s forgotten and looks so wild
I need to help her out
But this image makes me want to shout

A man that just cant walk
He sitting outside and doesn’t talk
He stares at me and I cry
And I know he’s forgotten and going to die

A baby opens its little eye
Bruised and forgotten he’s about to die
His parents were drunk and abusing him
He looks so pale and very slim

What has this world come to?
There is so much more we can do
Not sit in front of our computer screen
This world is full of happy, evil, nice, and mean

We can help these people out
why make fun of them just to hear them shout?
They're humans just like you and me
even if they cant talk, walk, hear, or see
