In another life, a different time
You could be my rock, the core inside my soul
Making me breathe, the wind within me
My heart is whole, but I’d bleed for you
Here I stand, this ring so consuming
Separate paths, without a crossroad
It’s only a dream, the fantasy inside of me
Left behind, in months to come
These tears will hide, but won’t forget
The love we’d make, in another life

hey,
i liked this..some cornyness obviously, but it actually flowed so well together. sometimes i read poetry like this and stumble, but it seemed to flow really nice and fast. i liked that.
