how does one find inspiration
in times they need it most?
it comes at will, and fades away
as if it was a ghost.

what is there to write about
when nothing comes to mind,
and though you try and try to seek,
still nothing do you find?

who is there to counsel with
when artistic thoughts are slacking,
and all your favorite peers do leave
imagination lacking?

where is one in need of help
to stir their heart to go
when emotions seemingly run dry,
and words just will not flow?

when , if ever, will i be
in such a place and time
to feel again inspired so as
to write a skillful rhyme?

why is it that my pen falls short
with toughts, so vague and few
each time i sit to think and write?
i do not know.

I loved this, maybe because I can relate so well. None of the rhymes were forced, the flow was comfortable, two thumbs up.

Whoa... an original approach to solving a problem we're all stuck with from time to time: writers block. When you've nothing to write about, write about the lack of material? Great idea! lol!
