The one thing he said he would not say
He said goodbye
and Now he isn't here today

I woke up to tears
I fell asleep to our song
I don't know if I can do this without him
I can't do this very long

He said it to me
He promised me forever
How is it that it's over
When forever ends never

I miss the kisses
I miss his touch
oh my it's only been a week
but I miss him so much

He said it to me
With nothing in his eyes
It's like he never cared
Like my eyes never lite up his skies

I can't believe he would leave
I can't believe this is true
What am I suppose to think
What am I suppose to do

He said it to me
He said he'd never lie
but He did lie to me
He said goodbye...

Too late to cry, you're gone... why should I cry, you can't wipe the tears dry, so what am I to do? I need to be with you....-Me

Wow...amazing poem. I would pick out a favorite part but i absolutly loved it all.

The flow was great and i liked your rhyming schemes too. Just an amazing write...keep posting more Jamie!

No, this poem should most certainly 'stay'. I love the way it's written. I know the feeling well; being left behind by people who say forever. I'm learning to mistrust that word. Right up there along with love. Sorry to hear you're going through the same thing I am. Still, you have to admit, it does inspire some really good poems!

i can totally relate to this poem.
dont worry hon we all went through
those kind of time when we get hurt from
someone we love.you'll find the right guy someday but until then dont give up looking !
