an akward state of mind

I wrote this last year...
You don’t hear me when I scream,
You don’t see me when I cry,
You just see your smiling face,
And pass the pain on by.

You know I’m sad, it’s obvious.
I know you know it’s there.
You pretend like nothing’s wrong,
But internally I know you care.

Something tells me you’re reaching out,
But his force is holding you back.
You say you love him, but I know,
It’s just to fill the love you lack.

He’s good to you and helps you through,
So what’s tearing me apart?
The fact that he’s not the one,
Just a stuffing to fill that hole in your heart.

There’s a circle of emptiness,
Or maybe a jagged square,
But it lies in inside your weakened soul
Letting through cold air.

And I know that this new man
Is the patch for that wound.
He will be the blockage
That makes it heal too soon.

Keep in mind, this is temporary,
Cardboard stuck with tape.
Not knowing this will fall apart,
Their new lives take shape.

Just please watch out, Mom,
For the heartache and the pain.
You were hurt the first time,
And it can easily happen again.

I know you loved him and he loved you.
And I know sometimes you still cry.
But mom, I’m here for you, so be here for me,
'Cause sometimes so do I.

Awesome...wow very good, I'm speechless. Very good write, very good rhyming, very good way of making it flow. good job!
