I had to replace,
This aching memory of you,
So I searched and searched,
And finally found someone new.

He’s someone who –
Loves me for me.
He’s someone who –
Just wants me to be happy.

I looked at your face,
Then into your eyes.
There wasn’t a trace of truth,
Just a thousand untold lies.

You’re someone who –
Kept me waiting for your call.
You’re someone who –
Would never “catch me if I fall”.

He keeps me alive,
He keeps me awake.
He helps me survive,
After all those mistakes….

All the mistakes in the past….like you.

wow.. i must say this is absolutely wonderful. I can relate to it so well. I have many many mistakes like "him". I am glad you have found someone.. that isnt a mistake. Very amazing write.
