From a cradle to a casket

I sit in my basement,
and listen to you preach
about the only way to succede
You've built a corperation
that steals millions of lives
We won't take it any more
we're sick of your lies
I thought I'd see a change
over time.
Why do you hate us?
What was our crime?
I'm sick of sitting around
I'm sick of being patient
We'll take our country back
if it takes a revolution
The few, the proud
the fat cats
your our countries curse
Throw your weight around
and make everything worse
We carry the rich
we've forgotten then poor
Politics is a disease
and there's no cure
Don't you think that life's
to short to sit around
and think about how we can
turn our lives around?
I can't say there won't be
any pain
but is it worth staying the same?

good use of more subtle rhyming, i'm not too into political poetry, most of it sucks. this one was ok though. i dont know, it's all been said before though.

I agree with young_blood, you did a good job with the rhyming.
I don't think that this was your best work, but I did enjoy it, and that's what counts.  KEEP ON SHARING!
