Dreams come
& dreams go
They taint
the soul
with hope

but your name
escaped
it's destination
Your words fell
& never recovered

Still you
continued
with eyes closed
to the
impending disaster

most of us have that self destructive streak,
keep walking into those disasters
willingly blindfolded.

lessons do get learned
