The piano of this friendless night plays on
Continuing a blissful melody for thee
I cannot but, though why so I not, listen ever so closely
For my ears are stuck so intensely
Gazed upon this epiphany, playing on and on

Nigh and looking upon this ghostly play
Flies the divine tongue of a Siren
I take her hand, as her song had open the door then
And she appeared, as it was, rapturous and less ferine
“Don’t fear the Reaper” the words the Siren will say

Beside the blossoming candlelight, once a dying dim,
My eyes shone on this angel of death, her will I won’t fight
For my time of life and love has come and gone into the night
In eternity now I will be like the sleeping in eternal moonlight
In her eyes, now mine, the chances of pain are slim

So as I took hold, tightly in infatuation, of this Reaper’s hand
I knew, in mind and in heart, that from this life I grow so further apart
With each step with this angel, I feel the breath from me and ache from heart
Alas, I do not worry about Death; without fear it is only a lifeless, painless art
Only a Kiss of a cruel romance on the coldest fires and sand

I fall further into such a perfect, euphoric emptiness
Within my Lover’s arms, draped in dreams and happiness
A less hollow heartache in the whispered words of the Siren
And upon the chilled lips of the Reaper

Love is only an excuse to hurt and to get hurt... Knowledge brings ye fear.

"For my time of life and love has come and gone into the night
In eternity now I will be like the sleeping in eternal moonlight"

very beautiful/brillant writing. I really enjoyed reading it.
