There are times when it gets too much,
When you cry yourself to sleep,
And everything you knew,
Turns out to be a lie,
There’s no one to protect you now,
Not in this world,
Infiltrated with self-centered human beings,
They don’t seem to see you,
As you scuff your shoes,
And shuffle past in the rain.

It’s at these times when a simple word,
Drains your energy,
And you collapse feverishly,
Into your inner-sanctum,
And you pray to the night sky,
To wash away your pain,
And to cleanse what can be saved,
It’s now when you get confused,
Think things with no rhyme or reason,
Or no reason for the rhyme,
You find yourself falling,
Everything rushing past,
Like the raging river in a storm,
And your hands hesitate still,
When they find a ledge to grasp.

It’s at these times when no one,
Understands,
They put it down to age,
But it carries with you a decade later,
And they still diagnose the same,
You think the best thing is to cry,
In a lovers embrace,
Or to yell and scream,
Or talk,
But this feeling doesn’t really go away,
So at these times write it down,
Then laugh about it at a later date,
Or better yet bawl your eyes out,
In a lovers embrace.

thats how i feel.

u got my emotions, froze them and put them into words. i xcant explain it, but u somehow can.
