Tears

Each tear down my face represents
a lie
a friend
a heart
a scar
a loss
an ending
they all mean one thing...
Too many to count...but one to trust
The truth is always better
Heartbreak is worse than any physical injury
Every new pain leaves a mark...even if it's invisible
Things that you care about will always slip away
When the one you trust leaves...the tears never stop
There's no such thing as a happy ending, because end is synonymous to goodbye
I cry myself to sleep, each tear telling it's story
And as i lay on my tear-stained, sopping wet pillow, i am reminded
happiness is an illusion to mask the pain underneath every smile.

Drained from emotion
she waits till death grasps her.
She faces it with no fear but rather welcomes it.

Very beautiful, lonely poem...I especially loved the ending line.

I left it all behind, and never said goodbye...
