Stuck inside my thoughts,
In another world,
Can't escape this nightmare
No way to run from myself.

Broken on the inside-
I never truly healed
This pain is never ending
From the memories I keep concealed.

The scab was pulled free
Now I'm drowning in me,
I wish that it wasn't true
How I fell in love with you.

And that scab will always have a loose end unless you allow it to heal.
