I walk unsettled
With an illness that can't be tamed
Controlled by medications
Which help to keep me sane.
Now when I forget to take them
Or someone has taken them away
I somehow have delusions, I become insane.
I wasn't birthed this way I hope
It has always caused me pain
To say it was my parents fault
the DNA.
How I have suffered with this illness
I walk unsettled today.
Hoping the psychosis never comes back
I walk unsettled today.
