I hear a voice with a title authority My mind is blind And the wild heart of God has other plans My guitar sings in thick forest Of the glories of my LORD And authorities loom near Is it a threat? My bloody knife suggests I keep quiet But its no longer afraid Azul of my father and mother Why do you tread on me? How can you impose? Civil War awaits, while everything I touch is huge And the voices of men compete over my destiny Who, do I dare, will decide for me? Its right, its correct My ancestor's cry has now re-entered a descendants mouth And I cry for... FREEDOM!!! just to be happy... |

Yeah, its pretty intense... actually I wrote it in an on-line coffee shop, and when I left I was totally determined to go out and make something happen with my music... The Torch Light Parade was going on in downtown Seattle. I stepped across a street and cops started running through the massive crowd to take care of someone acting stupid, and I heard 2 loud gun blasts and later I overheard a cops radio saying "Suspect down" Its pretty intense, because it seems like the guy could have been the one to write this poem. blah... stories...
