You tell me you love me
And all I want to be is free
I'm lost in the dark
I feel unloved
I try to hold back my fears
I don't dare show my tears
I wonder if anyone cares
I just want to run and hide
Wishing to be happy
I wonder where I could belong
I think what's wrong
Is it me being alive
Just when hope is almost gone
You come along
With open arms filled with love
But the pain turns into
An invisible scar left on me.

Very nice insightfull There is a deep hurt
there. Maybe poetry can help heal it.
