If I need you will you be there?
If I need warmth will you be near?

I betrayed you,
I needed to let go.

My heart filled with mixed emotions.
Why don't you close your eyes and reinvent me?

So I am asking will you be there,
When I need you?

Do I have the right to even ask this of you...
Am I holding you back?

Will you be there?

Eventhough I do not deserve It,
Eventhough I do not deserve You.

Will you retaliate?

This is very true. Often we push people away only to realise later that we need them... Quite sad and unfortunately truthful. an enjoyable read

I liked this a lot cause what digital_hell said this poem has a lot of truth mingled in it and there is something we could learn from this poem. Even though it’s very sad it is a lesson we need to sit up and listen too…
