The fool chases the rainbow seeking treasure
Only to return empty handed
And addicted to the journey
He carries on for what seems like eternity
Pursuing his shallow dream
Only to get more than he bargained for
When he realizes that his rainbow was his life
And the treasure, his death

My sig, which doesn't fully display in here, lol.

"Who knows if to live is to be dead, and to be dead, to live? And we really, it may be, are dead; in fact I once heard sages say that we are now dead, and the body is our tomb ..." [Socrates. Plato, Gorgias 492e]

Socrates saw it too, man.
I really like your perspective, Doc.
A fine write.

Thanks,
