In my own private hell...(PA).

{I can not stand to see you this way...I know I come and go, but you are my only rock!){smiles softly}

In the rain, soft and weary
I saw her eyes red and blurry.
She was a vision of pure beauty.
Gentleness dripped from her very being.
Yet, silence was written in her eyes.
Her trembling voice soft and fleeting.
Grace was in her stance.
Precious words spilled from her paper with every glance.
I saw them jump and push thru the bindings
as she held tight, shutting out the musings.
Whispers escaped my lips before I could catch hold.
“Please, Miss Dreamer, if I may be so bold…
your words plead to be set free.
Why do you hold so fast, letting them die before they can be?”
Her reply…
“They no longer suit me."
And she began to cry.
One simple question…why?
…For fear of paper has taken many a lovely lady to her demise…
Set them free, sweet dreamer, let us bask in your reprise.

Indeed, Ali... Nice to see you paying such tribute to our Jenn the Dreamer, tempting as she always is...

Have to ditto that, Jenn has always been a favorite of mine, and she better unleash those words - they are always so enjoyed.

Well, what can I say...but that I've missed you and THANK YOU for this.

I believed you've "nailed" it, as they say. My words don't seem to suit me anymore, but I guess I should be wondering who I'm really writing for.

Its wonderful to have such support. Ohh..and I love your picture. I don't believe I've seen a picture of you in a while.

wowy, this was very nice. i loved the wording, even though there were a few words i didnt understand, but thats wonder in poetry! shows brains! anyways! such a good write. thanks for sharing this. peace
