Even when the sands
finally fall through the glass
the grains, yet remain

ha - so very true and yes, I am everywhere myself, Eddie, lil' bits of me and memories stuck in my head. (I like it that way, sometimes)

I LOVE this, thank you for doing this and you said SO much in three lines.
This is amazing . . .

Its like time never ends even after you die.  It goes with or without you.  Wow, thats brilliant.  Yeah, your work still rocks.  Right on.

Aye, Ed.
And then the question remains:
"Are they truly spent?"

Nice write in the style, man.

Sometimes you are so good you just piss me off.

I mean that in the most affectionate way of course.

Even when the sands
finally fall through the glass
the grains, yet remain
like change which can only exist
with time
summon by the truth
in the end
will always be the same

If nothing is something
then everything is
our thoughts and feelings
and all that exists.

::smiles::   First, I read your poem about Tuesdays.  I became an instant fan.  Now...after searching for any other works you may have posted...I come upon this...the 2nd one read.   My response?      ::bows::

Yes, young feller, you have stumbled upon one of the GOOD ones!

He doesn't know it, but not long after I joined, I found myself giving the search engine a shakedown cruise....by looking up all of Ed's poetry that it would show me, and reading, reading, reading......
