Kill me now, just let me die
For living is too hard
Flashbacks taunt me through the day
And nightmares leave me scarred.

I’m tired, I’m worn and all burnt out
And God has turned His back
Suffering seems to be my lot
And there’s never any slack.

I compare my life to that of Job
For suffer did he much
But somehow Job came out on top
And I’m caught in harm’s clutch.

Never am I ever well
And never free from pain
But always there is torture
Adding strain to strain.

Nothing cures the pain, But always does it rain.

Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!!

i enjoyed this write. I read ur posts that u wrote to me and i agree...i htink we could have a lot in common. I love to write all i write is based on my feelings. it seems urs is too as i read it. i went through sexual abuse for a yearr in a half...mental, emational, and phyiscal abuse from the ages 9-13 by some1 i trusted most..my mum..but she quit drinkin and all is well now...but it still hurts to think about it..u should know that..but i like this keep it comming!!

Amber, I am sorry to hear of your abuse. It is not easy to go through let alone deal with as an adult when people think you should just forget it. I will keep you in my prayers.
