I'm running
and getting nowhere.
I'm writing
and saying nothing.
I'm screaming
so loud no one can hear.
Or do they choose not to?
Claim I never uttered a word.
Poetic or pathetic?
That I have to follow you,
a lost puppy at your heels,
waiting to catch any bone you might throw,
knowing somewhere that you won't,
that I'll starve to death
and you'll never notice.
Because you could only ever
be bothered to look once
and you were disgusted at what you saw.

Yeah, I think my favorite line was "Poetic or Pathetic?" This one actually started out as a rant about something completely irrelevent, but I liked what I said and spun it. I was going to simply name it Words To Chew On. As in a bone I could throw myself, but I didn't think that people would pick up that it's not actually about a person.

wow...this was amazing. I could relate so much...it hurts. i think im saving.

That was a pretty cool poem. Like society is a puzzle, and words are just directions or pieces.
