Walking gravel roads
And unpaved highways
Shrugging your shoulders
Like yesterday.
Things don’t seem to go
The way they should.

You’ve given up on giving in,
It always breaks your heart again.

I watch the tears roll away,
Wish that I could comfort you, today.
And be the one,
Who’d never let you down…

You’ve given up,
I’m giving in…
Only want your heart
To be loved
Once again.

He was a man of sorrows
...I am a girl of tears.

The thoughts we make to please the other person in a partnership, shouldnt be allowed to tell taht you give up you for to see if it can be saved.
Sometimes its easier to star from new inside, and begin to live gain.

Smile i liked it, cause it tells alot of your emotions.

Ada,
sad.. yes, if I write it then most likely thank you...

Jes,
but then, to love is to give up yourself. In a partnership you let them hold your heart, and you hold theirs ever so tenderly. With this write though, its just about a friend that I so desperately want to have the love he deserves. I wrote it as if I could give it to him... but I never could, since both of us only see eachother as friends and anything else just wouldn't be right... just wish I could help him. Whew I'm so longwinded lately. Thank you for your reply

Always, Alyssa

Love is giving. Sometimes we give in ways our loved one realizes, and sometimes it is best that they never know. But we give.

Amy,
Thank you so much you take care, too.

Ed,
amen to that... I don't think many see that anymore. They only want to take... I just wish I could give him what he needs. Thank you

Dix,
You are.

Martie,
thank you, I'll never actually give it to him. But I needed to write it.

Bill,
You're so sweet thank you kind sir.
