The Shepard

I am the Shepard of my wend
And the orchard and the blend
The bouquet and the ballet
The temple and naiveté

I am the choir and the church
The oath of prayer and besmirch
The temple and the trinity
The whole of the vicinity

I am the working of the earth
The very place that gave me birth
A moment in millenniums rhyme
A spectrum of a speck of time

I change within forever’s goal
To fill a void and make a soul
Or so it seems to me in bend
Or my sense eludes the end

But then again I could be wrong
Perhaps I sing a different song.

Good one Seymore ... we are the sheperds to our wends
or ... we can't both be wrong can we?

You are a poet with a prophet's pen ...
your rhyme and verse teach, then transcend.
Your words turn to stars that light the night ...
while your wisdom warms us with the morn's invite.

You are the shepard ... we are your flock ...
a poetic pied piper ... your rhymes ROCK!!

I can remember Forever December,
The center of dying ... the heart of the pain.
The stars surround me ... the cold astounds me.

Rex,
I don't know but thanks for the read and comment. LOL

JM,
You are the summer breeze
The dancing leaves and
A delightful tease.
Your write is a dawn of light
A welcome sight and
A delight.
