Girl I came home early, cause you think I'm workin, two glasses on the table cigarettes still burnin, Heard the back door slam, footsteps on the run Your hair is a mess Ya got buttons undone Chorus: Well I just came home to say my piece You're not foolin me I gotta leave I got a new place to stay today Got the cable hooked up n the rent is paid Gonna watch old movies where dreams come true try'n forgive my heart for loving you.
