Which way is it to the station?
tell me the way to procrastination
which way is it to get into town?
tell me the way to let somebody down...

That's easy for the person who has you to wait
comes on his own time, more often than late...
all life must stop, he arrives when he pleases
is there no recourse to halt the time he seizes?...

Which way is it to avoid meeting someone on time?
is that the direction followed this timeless crime ?..
must be the way to lose confidence in the person who waits
as you expected him to rely on you when you set your bait...

And you said..."meet me at the station, I'll arrive at eight",
the bait that you planted had me question my fate
should I continue to consider appointments that always fail,
or should I replenish my resources, instead of emptying my pail?

Only you know whether the wait is worth it. *S* I like this very much... I tend to be the prompt type so I've done a lot of waiting... some waits never end. *S*

I say, empty the pail...all over the latecomer *Grin. Very well expressed.
