***

The sun was sizzling like the grill
In the back of the busy deli,
While perspiring cars slowly climbed uphill
Like Lilliputs on Gulliver’s belly.

As though some maiden basked in the sky,
With a golden ring in her navel,
The melting snowman gazed up, awry,
At the first warm caresses of April.

*I know I'm a bit early on this one... but I hate the cold weather, and I'm really looking forward to spring. :)

Master~
You're never too early with APRIL for me~

This is stunningly creative~
To quote specific lines would detract from the all of it~
Sooooooo ... I will enjoy it time and time again~
