It’s not as if it matters
whether right, wrong, half and half,
or how the many pieces
don’t fit within a square
or a circle elongated
or just plain and simply round.

It’s not as if it matters
whether real, dream, fantasy,
or a particle of brain
sent to scout for new terrain
for destined all are we
sooner, later, in good time,
to profit from a fall.

And I fell that day, or slipped,
or teetered like a drunk in rain
or just plain and simply walked
into the feel of you and I
devoid of earthly pride.

But it’s not as if it matters
if the garden’s left untilled
for over edges grows the grass
both here and thereabouts
and forms a happy landing place
for flesh turned energy.

Smiling faces I can see
and how beautiful the day
when all that matters most to me
matters to you too!

Wow, I'm not exactly sure what "warm and fuzzy" means when I hear people use the phrase, but this poem may have done that to me.  Does it pass? Is there something I should take for it?

Thank you so much Marge, Martie, and Enchantress for your kind comments and icebox, thank you, you made me laugh first thing in the morning.  Nope, there's no cure for "warm and fuzzy" because it's like ivy - once planted it just grows and grows and clings to brick walls until "life", for some reason or other, decides it's time to prune and trim.
