For you the past is an ever-wakeful nightmare drifting around the corner
It is what molds you
shapes you
controls you
holds you
…. Restrains you.
For you the pain is an eternal thorn, it is your apparition of never loving again.
Like spectacles upon your face, you look upon the world with an altered state of reality,
for you
it is all you know.

Your past is the wall that keeps you from love and keeps you from being loved
Yet, you allow yourself to think that it is nothing more than past.
That your future,
Your present
are free from this thorn.
But they aren’t, they are your ultimate demise if you don’t forgive as you are commanded.
For me
that nightmare also haunts the halls of my being.

In the end will our love survive our pasts? Can it survive the waves of what was? Are our hearts built on the wise man’s stone or the sands of the ignorant.

Only time will Tell.

Wow, Guard...

Hard questions...simple truths...too bad we don't listen more to our hearts.

Thank you.
