+*+*+*+*+ Gray skies don't get me down, They are calming to my soul. I know the sun's just hiding, As I make my lakeside stroll. The air is damp and cooling, And moistens skin with dew, As I draw it deep within me, I am thinking thoughts of you. Loving hugs on dreary days, Always kept me warm. I had not fear of anything, You were my port in any storm. So, as I stroll the lakeside, Awaiting your return, I know the sun will shine again, And end gray days of yearn. +*+*+*+*+ |

Nancy ~ Ah, yes! 'Tis such a day here as well! I was sitting at my desk, looking out my window towards the lake, and altho' it appeared bleak and dismal, it was somehow comforting to me. you see the grey skies over the lake as I do over the park near the house...with naked branches obstructing the view..kind of dismal...nonetheless a word of comfort...I'd like to think of myself as a battery that charges up on sunny days to make up for the lack of brightness on greyer ones...cheer up  |
