He Writes Especially for YOU He writes, and his words flow with grace And leave within my soul a trace It’s the softest hint of the lover’s sigh Or perhaps the sound of a sorrow’s cry His words curl around me in garlands bright They carry within the promise of light He writes and I catch my breath to read Then follow his footsteps where e’re they lead He writes, words that dance across my eyes Filling my mind with such sweet surprise I’m led onward into realms of dream Where mysteries remain forever unseen His words caressing my skin with heat Making me gasp and my pulse to beat He writes and those words drape o’re me Filling my mind with hopes certainty He writes, and the words gleam brightly Falling on my soul in layers lightly I read and they brush through my mind Revealing secrets that I sought to find My eyes shine in their glorious light Then my soul dances in sheer delight He writes and I hear their whispered plea Carried into the very depths of me He writes, and those words hold me bound Captured by their clear bell like sound Marsha Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

An exquisite testimonial, mushy one. I think every poet or writer alive would like to have that said about him/her. The way that you have sculptured and constructed the poem gives it good impact on the reader. Wonderful job....but then it's from your pen, isn't it?  |
