Still you call me a poet.

Even as I face an empty
page.

Leaving no more than a few
words behind.

Wondering...at the nothing of it
all.

And calling this the end...as I slowly
turn away.

I call YOU a poet.
I'm still looking
for a name.

Well done, Sir.

(sigh) Every poet needs a cadence, and every poet needs a time to rest, but very soon more gorgeous poetry will come to your heart that'll make us smile as always, this itself is a gem, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

i call you a poet as well...only a poet knows his own beautiful weakness

joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless...

Yes, Eric, I shall call you a poet for I know your words and I feel them deeply each time I read you.  This piece is no exception.  I know the futility of which you speak...but this too shall pass when your soul cries out for release and with pen in hand you let out those cries upon the page.  Sorry, I don't mean to be so full of drama...it is just that I have gone through this recently and that is exactly how I felt.

Yes...I call you not just a poet, but a great poet.

Dear Eric, I call you a poet.
I can relate, though, because
i don't call myself a poet...or poetess.

the true test of the poet is the ability to express the inexpressible, to utter the unutterable, to describe the indescribable...and you sir, have passed that test with flying colors

Well, dearest One...

I'm not buying into it and you darn well know that from my private response when I first saw this!  LOL

And...I'm truly not sure if I have EVER called you a poet. Hmmmm...let's see...a singer of love songs to our hearts <--yeah, that one works!  Oh, I know...Merlin!  My favorite!  And...a sensual, serene, enlightened, radiant beacon of Light. Yeah...been happy with that one, too. But...poet? I sincerely think that small appelation really doesn't serve you all that well now that you mention it!  Yep...too drab!  Will have to at least add "great" or "stupendous" or "amazing" in front of it to mean anything.

But...then, like Moca...I may just be a tad overenthusiasic about the subject.  Ya think?

Love and Light...jc

(warned you I would make you blush!!!!)

This I know as Truth...we are all Beings of Light.

The muse is amused .... letting you turn away, she smiles, only to call you back ... in no time.

You are divine.

I love you. Margherita

I do believe you have all the muses smiling.  Yes, yes I know, I read this before, responded...but dang it all, it just called me back in.
