I can feel his hands upon my skin Melting my bones from the softest touch Quivering ecstasy after all these years Take me back! Take me back to the days When you and I ran untamed across the light of time And let the blanket of infinite freedom swallow us Dancing outside the old cathedral Staring up at the starry night sky. We all piled into one bed to sleep… all four of us Tangled limbs You, sneaking drowsy night time kisses whenever you could Me, pretending I was completely oblivious to any lust Being traded between us We acted Pretended we were lovers just for fun Then we realised that night THAT night when I woke up to your eyes staring into mine That this desire was real The most real desire I’ve ever known The kind of desire that I’m craving now Craving more than ever Now your names in lights Traveling around the country Sharing your music talent with the world The talent that you showed me in the privacy of closed doors Just you A guitar And me.
