Perfect Imperfections

There are things we see in ourselves
That make us feel we are not perfect
But what we see as imperfections
Someone else might sees as special features
So as you try to point out your imperfections
They are things that I can't see
Because you are a perfect gem to me

"Everybody's lost
But they're pretending they're not
Lost"........Morrissey

So true!  And, what a good write this was, as well!

I like the little couplet at the end and how it ends.

Nice work

never try to teach a pig to sing
it wastes your time AND annoys the pig

You know, my husband says the same thing!  This is a very knowledgable write.  Good Job!

Amature~
What a 'perfect' write~
I've seen this very thing over and over through the compliments I pay people ... they do not (and I'm assuming WE do not) see ourselves as others see us~
Thank you for sharing these thoughts ...~
