Hereafter
I'll round up these feelings I have for you,
Sequestering them to a weak little memory cell.
Then I will drink appropriately just enough
So that my heart will spew you in urgent dispel.

My goodness, this is going to take some re-reading....so much said, in such a short space.

Well written. My goal is to be able to say so much with so few words.

Bravo McLean...well done. You say so much in such a short piece. I can never do this. It always takes me a minimum of 14 lines to get around to the conclusion in any poem I write. (Snicker!) Well 90% of the time. I guess I have written a few 4 line verses. Still this is an incredilbe thing to be able to do. Bravo!

Thanks, everyone.  I thought for sure this one was going to drift off the blue unseen.

My word for this day was "Sequester", which, btw, I could not locate in my paperback edition of Websters.  Anyway...I wake with a word or two on the tip of my thought, and use what is offered to form some sort of writing.  This just came, in a brief few seconds to me.  I like it, too.

My word for today:  Clandestine, which IS in my Websters.  JOIN ME!  I'd love for everyone to try a write based on the happenstance of one word.
