we walked so slowly that day
they carried grandpa up and through the gate
I could play on, and the ocean behind the church and the sky
were so grey, and daddy talked so gently that I could bearly hear him,
and the rain and the wind and mummy were so angry,
and I didn’t understand why I wanted to cry
