A touch--
Triggers a shock.
Second touch-- shocked again.
How many jolts before he learns:
No touch!

ROFL... and we consider ourselves the superior species? *G*

Some lessons are harder than others to learn... it's such a shame those shocks are there. *S*

Painful way to learn lessons. Seems like many do not learn until they are touched and touched again with pain.
A lesson from kitty cat.
When I got her, what a little monster, and thought how am I going to train this little fur-ball of mischief, and a friend who raises cats said to use a spray bottle of water b/c she can't see the water and doesn't know what is touching her. No pain and she learned. Maybe mankind could learn without pain. ???? Maybe.

LMAO This sounds like me trying to train my 4 cats. 2 of which have a pee on the carpet problem. I loved it.

Ratleader,
very creative--as you told me on one of my post, you didn't understand why some poems didn't get as much attention as they  should.   This is one-it's creative and everyone has experienced the voltage now and then!   I've got a couple of my short more creative ones out there now and same thing is happening.  If you've time, you might stop by for a quick nod at Words in Wool's Clothing (I can imagine you'd relate) The other short one is called Paper Pillow Sighs (you may or may not like it.  It could be a bit on the mushy side).
Again, I enjoyed this.  Thanks for sharing.

LOL, some need a third or fourth jolt before the lesson is learned.
Me? I have endured several, but won't tell you how many. (Nor will I reveal whether or not the lesson has been learned.)

Hey, Sad~~ I read both of those this morning, but didn't reply then cuz I was engrossed in writing The Quilt and determined to finish before work..... I'll definitely be back for 'em though... excellent stuff you do, and I seriously like your creativity.

Sheeessshhhhh, I hate to admit it, but my track record in the past was naive and believing, again and again and again...but, the message is, no matter how many times someone takes advantage of your heart/feelings...whatever...someday, maybe, they will learn....and then it'll be to late for them....I've discovered that artists, writters, poets are very sensitive people, trusting and kind....a little more perceptive then most with big hearts...so I for one say...lets live and learn..with the best of em.....

Dog gone good thoughts, Mr.  Happy Thanksgiving.
