Pictures flowing into mind where
A Maharishi clearheaded and bright
Contented display of total wonderment
Whole measure of grains, polished wordless
Summoned the wick of visual artists
Fine-tuning twilight from planet to planet
Leaves of poplar trees, meeting overhead
Firelight looking inside sound voices
Like a random book reread metaphorically
How beautifully this falls to the eyes
White flowers with smooth surfaces
Five bushels of sweet sopping light
Then, a voice in the dimness
Sweet soaked with the sea
Arose with linger and spray
Like some tender potency of wings
Protecting…comforting, yielding
Circlets of converse with my deepest core
Morning terracing up, coalescing the sky
Thought forms into the futures
Yesterdays pureed and willingly fly
Soothingly like sparkling eyes, filled with creek music
Dreaming how the fog had lifted
Easing feelings…lifting shoulders, coming quiet
Like twilight settling into a summer cove
With an hour of daylight left
That quiet links a chorus of snowy wings
Turning the end of the right index finger
Winter solstice preciously cradled against our breast
Singing new turns of voices, high and clear
Heart and eyes to the lights of Christmas
Like a soft air, music runs circles around mammoth fires
Dripping of prayers and sure promises from our designer
Laying aside want…humbleness be our sacred belief
Drops of evening light...everywhere delights the eye

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done
There are thousands to prophesy failure
There are thousands to point out to you, one by one
The dangers that wait to assail you
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin
Just take off your coat and go to it
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
That “Cannot be done” and you’ll do it
By Edgar A. Guest

Merry Christmas to Margaret and Everyone
May your holidays be full of wonder

Sometimes instead of just reading a poem of yours, I bask in the way you say things.... just did that....got the start of a nice tan here.
