It's only me
Scars and dreams
Lit by moonlight
Buried in footsteps
Behind me

It's only time
Past ends now
Now never ends
Forgotten in moments
Behind me

It's only life
Oblivion awaits me
Stroking me patiently
Sleeping in words
Behind me.

This poem has a nice feeling to it. It gives me a picture of a young person frustratedly running away, trying to escape his/her own thoughts.
