The green woodlands.

Sleep, sleep my creatures of exquisite beauty.
Wake fresh, ready for spring,
splashes of vibrant colour to us please bring.

Winter weather will not suit your life, hide in your warm world, wake in time to hear the new songs of spring.

Decay and dreary doleful days, drift in the soft mist.
Sun burns through the fog, bringing illumination to the new day.

Splintered sunlight, beams through the tall trees of the forest.
Dreamstate of gently falling leaves, golden yellow, crimson, and orange, pile from wind flurries.
Fresh breeze makes the nearly bare branches dance and sway.

Birds of beauteuos colour add their own unique pastel shades to the dreaming forest of delight.

Into our hearts autumn begins to tighten it's grip.
Rising mists of evening heralds, the coming above us and our slumbering dreams, the black velvet cloak of night.

Have you seen jack-in -the green he taps his cain on the ground and signals the snowdrops it's time to grow.
