One Less Worry

There you are "always,"
a ballad of my heart
from a distance, like that azure sky.
You were that sliver
of moon,
peeking out and above
crooking my way,
inviting me to remember "always"
and let the midnight seize me
in all its splendor.

It was a gift last night,
facing me traveling, my left hand controlling,
my right searching for the song words
to soothe, to wrap me in memories
and warmth, from the coolness
of the falling temperatures.

Nothing else matters when
you rise to my thoughts
and I create a scenic view
to worry one less,
with the you of you.

I wrote my thoughts in mind
past the roads of yesterday,
never remembering the how or when,
but always the why
before reaching my destination,
and finding little scraps of you
papered in ink to pick up
and take me... to a time
of one less worry.
M

Thank you Marty and Sy

Marge...more days of traveling back and forth
tiring me to no end...whatever that truly means

I do feel "shell shocked"...don't you hate cliche's
so if you see me poking my nose in here occasionally, I am reading more than responding trying to squeeze some enjoyment into my life for now.

Thank you hugsssss,
Maureen

You map your thoughts and wind them through the sea of emotions, so beautifully Maureen~

Your title reminds me of something I wrote long ago, "One Less Wish to Make"
Sometimes it's better to let them find you, or leave you, as they should.

Love you~

I've missed your work (I haven't been around for about six months), yet you were one of the first people I was looking forward to hearing from.

The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love another.
