Somehow what I am about to write has almost a prophetic feel
Not sure why it just does.
I feel I'm bound for some other place
Someplace where I can feel things are real.

The tickets, well, I don't know where they will come from maybe some forgotten money left by family long ago.
What I am looking for, where I am going, well I just don't really know.

Somewhere out there that someone with love to share willingly, and free.
You know the one, the one that will see the real me.
They will show me how my eyes can shine through the darkest times
They will teach me, with patience,
and read me 'til my sleepy eyes weep,
and not be angry becasue I cry.
Not yell at me, and ask me why.

And when my step is a little late
They won't mind, they'll just wait
And love me still, in spite of
They will take my hand cover it
warm it like a lovers love.

And when I turn, and look over my shoulder
The touch of their hand will comfort me
To not look back, reminding me just a look, what for?
With just a knowing letting me know I did all I could with my life behind me, already tried but didn't somehow in life win.
With arm draped over my shoulder reminding me
mine wasn't, in this life, an original sin.
Anything I've done has been done before
And then their love, their belief, and faith in me
will open my true self...
The one that's been anchored, too long needing to leave the same old moor.

It's almost as if I can feel their hand now, calling come if it's what you want to do
And the promise of love, yet not spoken of
Still knowing it's there not token
Finding love, one that is true!!!

Finally I find my home in this loves arms not token, but true
Not from hard work, trials of the heart toils,
war torn like a casualty of mens prideful spoils
But just because they wanted to.

Shara - you make me think of my one true love, I could talk with her for hours on end, and we knew everything, then I forgot what I was doing... anyway, a very emotionally evocative piece. may you stay connected, forever. blessings

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Shara, I never have felt "true" love yet, but I know deep down with all my heart that some prophecy of love is being bestowed upon me too and He has a plan and I shall soon understand the beauty of all love is for the first time! My hubby and I found true love almost 35 years ago and to this day it remains strong! I know you too will find your soul mate.
