Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-10-01 10:33 PM

gazing into her depths
Cloudy or clear
Who can tell for sure
What does tomorrow feel
Am I in his mind at all
Highs or lows
Love or hate in her eyes
All I ask is that she talks
Tell me where I'm headed
Then please ensure I understand
There are so many things
All too many realities
I need to learn in this life
My heart aching, breaking
Causing me to wander
Aimlessly, this life to the next
It's all up to her
My soul, Her comtrol
Show me the way Home

Dammit, Megs... Now that your challenge got me started, I can't stop!!!!!!!! Thank you for the inspiration.

(big hugggsssssss) Wow, I don't know what song you're talking about this time, but this reminded me of Third Eye Blind's latest song "Crystal Baller" which the songwriter created the character to represent someone who would comfortably show his lover the future and promise myriads of stars for her! (sigh) I love this, sweet friend, "Imagine" is still your favorite, right, LOL, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Actually, Noah, the song is from the 1977 album of the same name by a little group called Styx. Tommy Shaw, the writer was talking about his sudden shoot from no one in a nowhere band in Alabama to Superstar in the biggest rock band of the 70's.
I'm glad you enjoyed this... and I'm going to ahve to get the new album you're taklking about to see the song.
