A letter to me . . . and my response ------------------------------------- I often wonder what soul, far past the midnight hour bemused such conception as the written word Forged to be spoken as if it could actually convey breath exchanged from mouth to neck and lung to life They sit around me in droves like a marketplace of emotion such creations books and yet, I have no use for them anymore They once held meaning flipping through pages of pronunciation and definition Now they read as a foreign language I often wonder if this same soul the moon a constant companion knew the meaning of feel It transcends common thought and abounds with grace everything which I am and hope to be for you and I eternally I have lost sight I do believe to the language itself and now have found within you an undiscovered train of speech I cannot write nor speak it but as sure as my blood flows like a raging river and my lungs fill with breath I feel you, my love And that, indeed is a treasure in itself Thank you, m'love Susie xxoo [This message has been edited by littlewing (10-01-2003 11:32 AM).] |

such beauty comes from more than words... it is a spin of soul on the edge of a raindrop, buffeted by wind, shaped by gravity, and soaked deep as it sinks to the very soil we are planted in this is a wonderful piece..... |

Isn't it wonderful how words come to life behind eyes that see more. Not just surface, but more...places that others don't take the time to see, or are not inspired to. It's like 2 different worlds, and that's why I love poetry. It's always a deeper look just like this write is!!! Thanks for sharing it!
