of Depression

I walk wall shadows,
Almost brushing walls;
I cling close
Blending in
Becoming the shadows
Knowing dark’s sad calls,
Looking back,
The path gone,
Lost in the shadows
Protected by walls.

No remnants remain,
Just shadows dim cast;
Covers all,
Covers none,
Lost in light reframe
That itself won’t last;
Shadows go
Shadows come
Hide expresser’s pain
That binds feelings fast.

No Apothecary tears
To alleviate the fears
Of the solar skies,
But comfort to know
From where it does call,
Beckoning
And hiding;
No tears from eyes flow,
Nothing there at all,
Only glaze
And lost haze,
Brought from the shadows,
Where I will soon fall
Silent from words all the night
Wandering from dusk to light.
